The legendary Art Academy of Latvia Carnival will take place for the 85th time this year, and its motto will be "The Spirit of the Artist: Igor c'est la vie, Igor c'est l'amour". The grand event will take place on 7 February, when the premises of the Academy will traditionally be transformed into a living vortex of artistic expression - with performances, concerts, creative workshops and countless other surprises. From 28 April to 9 May, the Art Academy of Latvia will host the spring open studio sessions. The broad programme of events offers the opportunity to see the latest results of studies in art and design over two weeks, in two buildings of the Academy. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Please note that there are no shows on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 May.

Art Academy of Latvia Diploma ceremony for graduates of Bachelor study programme will take place 20 June at 13.00 in the garden of the Academy (in case of rain - in the assembly hall of the Academy).

Graduates of Master's and Doctoral degree programmes will receive their diplomas at 20 June at 15.00 in the garden of the Academy (in case of rain - in the assembly hall of the Academy).
