From April 28 to May 10, the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) will host the spring open studio sessions. The event program will offer an opportunity to explore the latest academic results in art and design. Prospective students and other interested visitors are welcome to attend.

Special Program

On May 1, 2, and 3, student works from the Painting specialty’s Bachelor’s and Master’s programs will be exhibited in the academy’s hall, as well as in the corridors of the 1st and 2nd floors (Kalpaka Boulevard 13). On these days, visitors are welcome from 11:00 to 17:00.

The academy will be closed on May 4 and 5.

The students of the Fashion Design program at the Art academy of Latvia (LMA) invite you to the most exciting fashion event of the year – the annual LMA Fashion Show, which will take place on May 22 at 20:00 at the Riga Film Studio, Šmerļa Street 3, Riga.

On this evening, the audience will have a unique opportunity to experience the boldest visions and most creative experiments of young designers. This year’s motto, "I AM FASHION", will highlight individuality, self-expression, and fashion as a manifestation of personality.

"I AM FASHION" means that I am more than just clothing – I am a lifestyle, a way of thinking and expression. I am both an invitation and a challenge – to explore, discover, and redefine myself. I am art and design that live, breathe, and evolve with time!

Art Academy of Latvia Diploma ceremony for graduates of Bachelor study programme will take place 20 June at 13.00 in the garden of the Academy (in case of rain - in the assembly hall of the Academy).

Graduates of Master's and Doctoral degree programmes will receive their diplomas at 20 June at 15.00 in the garden of the Academy (in case of rain - in the assembly hall of the Academy).
