From December 2 to December 13, the doors of the Art Academy of Latvia will be open to everyone interested in experiencing art and drawing inspiration from the creative works of the Academy's students.

The exhibitions are open to visitors free of charge on working days, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The creative whirlwind of winter events begins with these open exhibitions. On December 14, the annual student exhibition “JAUNmarka” will open its doors, inviting visitors to warm up with art this year!

The visual identity of the exhibitions was created by Betija Jakaite, a student specializing in Motion.Image.Sound. She describes the concept of the Open Exhibitions’ visual identity: “Exhibitions are a time when heightened energy fills the Academy, and art sparks in every student’s work. The idea combines several power strips, symbolizing the Academy’s sub-programs and specializations, each represented by a plug socket.”
