In 2020, was established the Art Academy of Latvia Experimental Art Space PILOT. The art space is 191 square meters in size and is located at 3 R. Wagner Street in the Old Town.

One of PILOT's goals is to use the space in the academic study process, as a venue for exhibitions and experiments, providing students with the opportunity to gain experience in exhibition activities. The diverse program of PILOT is primarily composed of exhibitions of academy students' works, competition exhibitions, results of collaborative projects, lectures, and other creative projects. PILOT Art Space has participated in the Art Vilnius art fair in Lithuania several times, where it has been ranked in the Top 7 of the fair organisers in 2020 and 2024. PILOT periodically announces competition calls for AAL graduates, thus supporting professional career development after completing their studies.
