The students of the Fashion Design program at the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) invite you to the most exciting fashion event of the year—the annual LMA Fashion Show, which will take place on May 22 at 20:00 at the Riga Film Studio. This evening, the audience will have a unique opportunity to experience the boldest visions and most creative experiments of young designers. This year’s motto, "I AM FASHION," will highlight individuality, self-expression, and fashion as a manifestation of personality.

"I AM FASHION" means that I am more than just clothing—I am a lifestyle, a way of thinking, and an expression. I am both an invitation and a challenge to explore, discover, and redefine myself. I am an art and design who lives, breathes, and evolves with time!

"The LMA Fashion Show is a significant event in Latvia’s fashion scene, and this year it will take place in a special venue – the Riga Film Studio. This format will create a unique atmosphere, where the works of young fashion artists will be highlighted, while also connecting fashion with cinema and visual storytelling," says Agnese Narņicka, Head of the Fashion Design Department.

The LMA Fashion Show is one of the brightest and most important events in Latvia’s fashion and design landscape, bringing together young talents and professionals from the creative industries. This year, the show will take place for the 32nd time, and for the fourth consecutive year, it has been recognized as a nationally significant cultural event.

The audience will have the opportunity to see approximately 20 collections from young designers, created during their bachelor’s and master’s studies.

Tickets for the event will be available from March 21 on the Aula.lv platform. The first tickets will be available at a special price. From April 1, the price of tickets will increase.

The LMA Fashion Show will traditionally kick off the annual LMA Design Days – a broad series of events, which also includes the Design Department’s exhibition. It will take place from June 6, presenting the diploma works of students from all Design Department specialties and the most significant projects created during their studies.

During the exhibition period, there will be international and local guest lecturer lectures, workshops, and award ceremonies. Design Days have been organized since 2007 by the LMA Design Department.
