"FASHIONTEX" PARTNERS MEETING IN PRAGUE

From 11 to 14 March Jānis Gailītis, Head of the Development and Communication Department of the Art Academy of Latvia, and Agnese Narņicka, Head of the Fashion Design Department of the Design Faculty, participated in the partners' meeting of the project "FashionTEX 2025 - European Academy of Young Designers" at the Fashion Design Studio of the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague.

During the event, participants actively exchanged ideas on the future of digital fashion, innovative teaching methods and the growing importance of 3D design in education. These conversations highlighted how FashionTEX fosters collaboration and creates new perspectives in fashion education.

The partners presented the progress of the project and informed about the events planned for this year at Riga Makerspace (Latvia) and Maker House Schneeberg (Germany), as well as the FashionTEX show that will take place from 5 to 7 November 2025 at the European Capital of Culture in Chemnitz.

The meeting in Prague was an important step in the FashionTEX project, strengthening cooperation between the partners and encouraging the development of new ideas.
