From December 16, 2023, to January 7, 2024, the annual student art exhibition "JAUNmarka" will take place in the auditorium of the Art Academy of Latvia (Kalpaka Bulvāris 13, Rīga). This year's theme is "find your art!"

"JAUNmarka" annually serves as a platform for supporting and promoting the careers of young artists. For art enthusiasts, it offers the chance to be among the first to discover new talents and trends in the fields of art and design. The curators of "JAUNmarka" will also assist those who are just beginning to explore art, providing consultations to guide them in gaining new perspectives on how to view and find their own art.

The tradition of the student art exhibition began twenty years ago during the Christmas period when the doors of the Art Academy of Latvia opened to a wider audience, inviting them to embark on an art hunt in the picturesque auditorium. By bringing together the creative works of students from all departments of the academy, "JAUNmarka" allows visitors to explore more than 4000 artworks of various forms, materials, sizes, and textures.
