PARTNER MEETING WITHIN THE "FashionTEX" PROJECT
From March 5th to 8th, Jānis Gailītis, Head of Development and Communication Department, and Māra Binde, Associate Professor specializing in Fashion Design at the Design Department of the Art Academy of Latvia, participated in the "FashionTEX 2024 - European Academy of Young Designers" project partner meeting in Lisbon.
The aim of the meeting was to plan the project activities for the next two years, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the developed methodology for digital competence development and assessment of fashion students, using the software "CLO3D for Digital Fashion Design". Also, to inform the project partners about the planned events at "Riga Makerspace" (Latvia) and "Maker House Schneeberg" (Germany). During the visit, a seminar was held with invited industry experts to discuss the latest trends in digital fashion development. The meeting took place at the Fashion Department of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University of Lisbon.
