Jakub Jernajczyk
Visual artist and popularizer of science, Ph.D. in the Arts, MA in Mathematics. Currently Dean of the Doctoral School and Professor at the Media Art Department at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (Poland). In his artistic, scientific, and didactic work, he focuses on the cognitive aspects of visual perception and visual imagination and the role of art in explaining scientific issues. He creates multimedia installations inspired by mathematics, physics, and philosophy. Author of scientific articles concerning philosophy, mathematics, and art theory. He has participated in numerous worldwide scientific conferences and artistic exhibitions.
