The Doctoral School of the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) is a structural unit of the LMA, which ensures the development of doctoral studies in the strategic specialisation of the LMA - humanities and arts (thematic field of education - arts). The Doctoral School plans, organises and supervises the implementation of the Art Academy of Latvia doctoral study programmes (hereinafter - DSP), the dissertation process and the defence of qualification theses, ensures the DSP process for students and participates in the internal quality assurance system implemented by the Art Academy of Latvia.
