DESIG*ness
The aim of the DESIG*ness project, Cooperation Partnership to teach and learn Inclusive Design and Diversity in Higher Education, is to develop international teacher training courses and guidelines for inclusive environments in art and design colleges.
Within the project, understanding of inclusive art education is defined more broadly than usual: alongside the common practice of addressing people with visual, hearing, and functional impairments, inclusive environments for people with attention disorders, language barriers, training in digital environments, anxiety related to study evaluation and public speaking, and similar aspects will also be considered.
By using innovative training methods and shared assessment techniques, DESIG*ness training strategies will involve stakeholders with experience in integration and disability policy and advocacy.
