Rosario Napolitano

Rosario Napolitano received his PhD from the University of Naples "l'Orientale" (2018) for his thesis titled "The Soviet censorship in the Baltic States, from Brezhnev Era till the collapse of the Soviet Union (1964-1991)". His areas of interests are related to the Italian cultural diplomacy in the Baltic states during the interwar period (1918-1940), and the policies of sovietization within the cultural sphere in Soviet Latvia. Since February 2023 he has taught Italian language at the Art Academy of Latvia.
