Artis Ostups

Artis Ostups holds a master’s degree in philosophy from University of Latvia. He is the editor-in-chief of the online literary magazine Punctum, works as a researcher for the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia, and studies at Tartu University. His upcoming dissertation focuses on the heterogeneity of historical time in contemporary Latvian fiction. His academic interests include trauma and memory studies, philosophy of history, narrative theories, and modern and postmodern literature. Ostups has also edited a volume of art manifestos, as well as multiple poetry collections and anthologies. He is the author of three books of poems. His work has been translated into English, German, Russian, Greek, among other languages.
