Working at the Institute of Art History since 2008. / Head of the Architecture and Art Department at the National Cultural Heritage Board since 2020.
Research interests: 17th century architecture in Latvia.
Education: Janis Rozentāls Riga Art School (1981–1988), Art History Department of the Art Academy of Latvia (BA diss. “The History of the Subate Church”, 1994; MA diss. “Dutch Classicism in the Architecture of Latvia in the 2nd Half of the 17th Century”, 2006; PhD diss. “Architecture and Urban Planning of Riga in the 2nd Half of the 17th century”, 2010).
