Methodical funds
The Academy has public collection of diploma works where you can find study works of all the famous Latvian artistes.
The formation of collection started on 1940′s when accordingly to the Soviet standards the so called study-methodical collection was founded. There are some works from period of German occupation and Republics of Latvia, but main part of works are collected after the II World War and characterize tendencies of Soviet art.
Since 2006 works of systematization are going on. Artworks are inventoried, annotated, photographed so that collection would be accessible to every art-lover. It is planned to create the Museum of the Academy on basis of this collection.
